After agonizing over which DSLR might be right for me, I recently settled on the Canon 50D. I have to say, I have no regrets.

I’m by all accounts a novice photographer, but I enjoy photography and I think that’s what really matters. If you know what you like, you’ll know what results you want and you’ll do your best to get them. Also, I think I’m starting to get the hang of having more control over what my gear can actually do:
